Amad Diallo Share First Photo in Manchester United Shirt
Our new Ivorian winger has signed an agreement that runs until June 2025, with the choice of an additional year, after catching the eyes of club scouts in recent seasons.
An application has been created for a visa and, once this has been issued, Amad is likely to be cleared to visit to Manchester and join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
Using his official Instagram account on Thursday, the 18-year-old said,
“I cannot wait to start”
, and later published the very first photo of him wearing the iconic United home shirt, which you can see below…
FAREWELL TO ATALANTA
Amad has also bid farewell to his former club, posting a mental video with one of these words:
“Dear Atalanta, the moment to express goodbye has arrived.“
It has been six extraordinary years, six years of growth, six years of challenges. But above all, six years of happiness and love.
“Here, I have become a person; you've given me everything I ever wanted, and I am a lot more than proud to possess played for Atalanta.
“You will forever have a special invest my heart. Wherever I go, you will be with me for the present time and forever. Forza Atalanta!”
READY TO WORK
In our club statement on Thursday, Amad looked forward to joining Solskjaer's Reds and claimed he's ready for the task of representing United.
“After waiting since the summertime, it is finally a dream be realized to complete my proceed to Manchester United. I am hugely ambitious and there's so much that I wish to achieve in the game; when I spoke to the manager I knew that I'd joined the right club.
“This can be a really exciting squad with so many great players, I can promise that I works hard every single day to master from their store and give everything to develop my game. The coaches have now been fantastic since I signed, we will be in touch regularly and they have already given me a lot of great advice.
“I experienced time to prepare because of this move, both physically and mentally, and I have worked very difficult to be ready to make the step around this particular club.”
